- To respond to any applications of forest production or wood-based manufacturing industries within one (1) week after receiving the completed application forms.
- To issue forest license within three (3) months from the date of receipt of completed application.
- To issue timber manufacturing license, contractor certificate & export license within one (1) month from the date of receipt of completed application.
- To approve the extension period of forest license within two (2) months from the date of application.
- To approve the extension period of timber manufacturing license, contractor certificate & export license within two (2) weeks from the date of application.
- To provide information & technical advice on management, research & development as well as data of state’s forest resources within two (2) weeks from the date of the application.
- To release deposit, bank guaranttee or refund of royalty credit balance after the license operation is closed within one (1) month of the claim, subject to complete documentation.
- To supply non-classified publication at least one (1) week from the date of application.
- To respond promptly to public complaints regarding forest offences or forest services within one (1) week.
To provide the outcome regarding the application to enrol into any courses at the Sabah Forestry Institute (IPS) within one (1) month after the date of interview.
- To provide excellent services & hospitality at all time.
